How much are your cakes?
The price of each cake is determined individually. There is a minimum order of $200. Tiered cakes start at $5/slice. In general, most cakes range from about $7-$12/slice. 3D or sculpted cakes are individually priced and dependent on the project/design. They start at $300. Pricing for French macaron croquembouches or towers start at $105.
Can I get a quote over the phone?
Pricing is difficult to determine on the spot. Email is the preferred method of communication for pricing purposes as there are many details to take into consideration.
How is pricing determined for your cakes?
Pricing of these custom-designed and baked items are dependent on two things: Ingredients and labor. We only use the freshest and highest quality ingredients: eggs from naturally-raised chickens, cake flour, organic milk, butter, etc. Furthermore, we bake our cakes and cookies, and make our fillings, frosting with the greatest care and culinary skill that comes with experience. Finally, putting together a cake is extremely labor-intensive. Much has to be done to form each tier, even before the fondant gets laid on, or any decorations go on the cake. All of our decorations are hand-made. Depending on how sophisticated the design is, we may have to labor longer and more intensely. These are the factors we use to try and determine a fair price.
Can you copy or reproduce a cake I like?
While we are technically able to copy a cake for you, our mission is to create a truly special and unique cake for your occasion. If you absolutely love a cake you saw, we will gladly reproduce it for you, but we can always discuss variations and how we can improve the design to fit your needs.
How far in advance do I need to place my order?
All cakes, cupcakes and French macarons are custom-made to order. Dates get book quickly, so there is a minimum requirement of 3 weeks to place your order and for cakes for more than 50, you must place your order at least 5 weeks in advance. Very occasionally, we are able to accommodate small last minute orders. Please inquire as soon as possible so you can reserve your date.
Can I come in for a tasting?
If you are a prospective client we have been communicating with, we are more than happy to schedule a free tasting for you. All tastings are by appointment only and openings are dependent on when we are not working projects. Unfortunately, due to our made-to-order model, we are not able to offer tastings for orders under $250.
I am interested in placing an order. What is the process?
First, know when your event is and how many servings you will be requesting. It is always helpful if you have a design or theme idea in mind. However, if you don’t know what you’d like, we will work with you on designing and creating a personal and original masterpiece for your special day. If you wish, we can provide a sketch. Once some details are in order, we can schedule a tasting. You can sign a contract and leave a deposit anytime in the process to completely reserve your order.
How much are your cupcakes and/or French macaron favors?
Cupcakes start at $2.50 with a minimum order of 4 dozen cupcakes. There are discounted prices by quantity.
Macaron favors come 2 cookies to a cellophane bag, with your choice of ribbon. They start at $3.75/bag. Other design options are available.

Do you deliver?
We deliver to the entire New York City Area, including parts of Long Island, the Hudson Valley and New Jersey. Our clients are always welcome to pick-up their order as they wish. Some orders may require delivery for professional assembly reasons.

Do you offer classes?
Unfortunately at this time, we do not offer classes. But please check back in the future.
Do you offer gluten-free, vegan or kosher products?
For an additional charge, we can make your cake gluten-free. (French Macarons are already gluten-free). At this time, we are not offering vegan or kosher options.
I need something quick! Can I pick something up right away?
We are not able to accommodate immediate requests because we run a small private cake studio with all our cakes being made to order. We hope we can fulfill immediate requests in the future in a retail setting.
